Broken Brdige near Besant Nagar
Broken Brdige near Besant Nagar beach is one of the lesser known places in Chennai. Not many people visit this place, thanks to the slums blocking the way. But once you cross the slum. its worth it. Here are some photos of the Sunset at Broken Bridge.
Unfortunately I couldn’t reach till the end of the broken bridge as a few citizens(kudimagans) were lying down unconscious on the way!

In case you are interested in visiting this place, thre are 2 approaches
1. From within the Theosophical Society (They dont allow trespassers)
2. From Besant Nagar beach, keep walking itowards north(Planet Yumm and Church are in the south) along the shore. Some 2 kms beyond the Monument. You will reach this place. You can take your bike/car to reach this place. Just reach the other end of the beach road(Northern end) and ask the slum people for directions!
